Guatemala Huehuetenango is one of the select few high-grade coffees chosen to represent the taste of Guatemalan coffee. The Highland Huehue zone is located on the highest mountains in Central America (which are not volcanic), near the Mexican border, at an altitude of 6,500 feet above sea level. Due to the remoteness of the Huehuetenango region, farmers and producers must process the coffee themselves. Fortunately, the region has countless rivers and streams, allowing for wet processing almost anywhere.
