Rwanda Thousand Hills
Experience the smooth and subtle flavor of Rwanda Thousand Hills coffee, one of the best coffees in East Africa. This coffee is made from the Bourbon variety, grown at a high altitude near the equator.
This coffee stands out with its soft, sweet taste and aromas of black tea and berries. It also has a bright acidity, similar to Kenyan coffee, and a floral aroma like Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. The finish is a complex and charming creamy smoothness.
Compared to Kenyan coffee, Rwandan coffee often has a more delicate flavor with sweet caramel notes and hints of citrus (lime, orange). Thanks to its high volcanic soil and proximity to the equator, Rwanda produces some of the world's best Bourbon Arabica specialty coffee. Our coffee beans are traditionally processed: ripe coffee cherries are hand-picked from the trees, hand-sorted, and sun-dried.
