T I M E L I N E
1997 - 1998
Company and First Roastery Established. The Coffee Bean Roasting Co., Ltd. was officially founded, with a hand-crafted style coffee roastery located in the Rama 9 area. This marked the beginning of the company's journey in the coffee industry.
1999 - 2004
Expansion into the Retail Market. In addition to providing coffee bean roasting services for coffee shops based on customer needs, the company developed its own brand of roasted coffee, "The Coffee Bean," for sale in leading department stores in Thailand, such as Big C, Lotus, and The Mall Group. This was a significant step in expanding its distribution channels into the retail market.
2005 - 2007
Relocation of Production to Accommodate Growth. As the business grew and production capacity became insufficient, the company moved its office and production facility to Chokchai 4 before expanding the roastery to Bang Phli Industrial Estate in Samut Prakan province. The original location was not suitable for industrial-scale coffee roasting. This new factory was certified with production standards from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and GMP.
2014 - 2015
Launch of Drip Coffee Products. The company installed new machinery for packaging drip coffee and imported filter paper from Japan. This allowed for the production and distribution of "The Coffee Bean" brand of roasted and ground drip coffee in leading supermarkets nationwide, diversifying its product range to meet varied consumer needs.
2017 - Present
Investment in a New Factory and Elevation to International Standards. Due to insufficient production space and rising factory rental costs, management decided to purchase a new factory in the Biggerland project in Pathum Thani province. The factory was specifically designed to support international standard systems. The layout of this new facility is suitable for production systems that comply with important standards, including FDA, Halal, GHPs, HACCP, and ISO22000:2018.
